yesterday

i went watching this beautiful fairy tale

*i always find myself attached to Disney princesses*

**i bet all girls who watched Disney's fairy tales felt that**

there was :

Cinderella

Snow White

Belle from Beauty and The Beast

Aurora from The Sleeping Bauty

Jasmine from Aladdin

Mulan

Ariel from The Little Mermaid

Pocahontas

and the list goes on

now, a brand new one

Tiana from The Princess and The Frog

the home-made synopsis

Tiana was a young lady from a middle class family with big dream. she wanted to have her very own restaurant, fulfilling her late father's dream as well. forgetting how to enjoy her life, tiana spent every moment working in order to collect money to set up her own place. she has a very good friend, Charlotte whom totally differ from tiana in spite of her family background. this friend of her would do anything to marry a prince. later come Prince Naveen from Maldonia who had been sent away by his royal family because he's too spoilt. all he ever care about was money and money and money plus fun and music. the culprit in the movie was The Shadow Man. he turned prince naveen into a frog and when later naveen changed tiana into a frog too, the juorney of knowing reality and pursuing dreams began.

*it was a totally beautiful story*

a few remarks on what happened yesterday

when i went into the cinema yesterday, 3/4 of the audiences were children

and to make it even better

everyone was clapping when the story ended

*i believe children are very appreciative and sincerely believe in fairy tales*

i actually shed tears at two parts of the movie

first is when charlotte would kiss the frog [prince naveen] in order to help changed tiana into human again though she knew that the prince loved tiana and would never marry her [charlotte]

i thought that a friendship bond between that two friends must be really strong that charlotte would do anything for tiana even if it means that she have to forget her own

the second one was when ray died and be with her evangeline

*i dont have reason why i cried at this particular part...i just did*

in a nutshell

i give this fairy tale 5 stars

so,

first and foremost

*the title was just one phrase i learnt today*

today

i had my first clinical skill learning for this particular semester

and it was on history taking & physical examination of the gastrointestinal tract

*the third system after cardiovascular and respiratory*

i was expecting it to be hard and complicated

*seeing the video at first, i didnt understand a single thing*

but Alhamdulillah

my, our group's facilitator is such a very young and good doctor

Dr. Faiz Daud

a orthorhinolaryngologist

*correct me please if i spelled it incorrectly*

he's funny

soft-spoken

appreciate every effort that we put in the discussion

he's a good teacher

i can actually practise the physical examination now

and i believe i can teach others too

*showing how good he had taught us and how all of us understand what we are supposed to understand*

he tried very hard to memorised all of our names

*there's 10 of us in a group*

at last

he remembered i believe all of us including mye whom he decide to call sofia

mye was reluctant at first

but eventually she just let go

*personally,i think sofia is a beautiful name...it sounds very feminine...me likey!!!*

at the end of the day

i know how to measure the liver span which should be 8-12 cm in normal individual
i know that the abdomen is resonant on percussion except for the liver area
i know kidneys arent ballotable in normal individual
and
i know that the spleen can only be palpated and will sound dull on percussion when there's enlargement

i know these things might sound lame to some others

and may be just simple things

but

every complex and great thing is known by knowing the simple ones first

yesterday

for the first time

i drove from ayer keroh straight to pilah

*quite a 2 hours drive*

before this slalunya my mom or my sister will only allow me to drive on highway

but yesterday they purposely ask me to drive before the highway, on the highway and after the highway

*the after part was the worse because of the condition of the road*

**holes are scattered everywhere and the road is winding and there are lots of sharp turns to be taken*

***to make it even worse...it was night and thus..dark***

at first i was so excited

having a chance to drive at a far distance and without any changes of driver

plus, it was a crv that i had to drive

perletakan jawatan?? a.t.a.u peralihan kuasa??

this afternooon

i was kinda shocked hearing the announcement made by khairul

*i refer to me...not everyone*

i was not really hearing it personally

but i heard from another person

we have a new leader

at first i thought everyone was joking around

because i havent decided whom to be chose as leader and sent the names to the academic office

i dont think there is any need of a new leader

as i believe we had a good team already

*refering to the bba*

but since the administrator asked to

then i assume we had no other options

however

hearing the announcement today was very shocking

i am not that ready to have a new leader

because in my opinion

changing leader is not an easy task

passing one's responsibilities to another is not a simple matter

there's a lot to be discussed

and i believe in making decision as a team

no matter how personal the reason might be

well

what's done is done

and we should always move forward

no matter what had happened, is happening and going to happen

after a while

i realised that some things are out of our hands

and i accepted the new leadership as how it is

and continue doing my works just like nothing had happened

to Idrul, Siang & Ufairah

working with the three of you was a very good experience

honestly, i am not born leader

so i have to learn a lot to be one

i'm sorry for all the mistakes i had done that eventually causes hardship to the three of you when you are in charge

thanks for everything that all of you had taught me

i learned a lot =D

to Hazim, Kee Tat & Hamizah

i am looking forward to work you the three of you

and i hope we can create a better relationship and a better organisation together

there's a lot to be done and a big responsibility to be carried

and i believe we can achieved it as a team
